This is a transcript for the Show by Rock!! episode "Have a nice MUSIC!!".

Have a nice MUSIC!!

(The episode begins with cherry blossom trees. The title reads "Show by Rock!!". In a high school, a girl with blue hair wearing glasses is named Cyan Hijirikawa, looking at the window doors.)

• Cyan: Hi, I'm Cyan Hijirikawa. First year, class 3. I'd like to join the club. Nice to meet you. Nailed it!

(Cyan shakily struggles to knock, but fails. She sighs.)

• Cyan: I promised myself that I would do this today. But still, I'm scared! Won't they think I'm kind of a weirdo for wanting to join the semester? They're already so far ahead of me. Why didn't I ask to join them right after school started? Come on, fraidy cat, this is your dream, so just go for it already!

(Cyan sings the theme song of the show.)

• Cyan: Yay!

(Cyan notices all the students are staring at her. She blushes and her glasses fall off. The title card reads "Track 01: Have a nice MUSIC!!". At Cyan's room, Cyan is finishing practicing her song on her acoustic guitar. When she finishes, she puts down her guitar, sighs and lays down on her bed. She then looks at her phone.)

• Cyan: Geez, I need to hurry up and turn in my club application already. The longer I let this go, the harder it'll be for me to get in, but then what? I think they even have training camp during the Golden Week Holiday too! No matter what, I need to join the club before then. Oh, why do I have to be so shy?!

(Cyan holds a pillow on her face.)

• Cyan: I swear I'll do it tomorrow. But for now, I'll psych myself with a game! All right.

(The game Cyan is playing on her phone is similar to the original 2013 video game.)

• Cyan: Oh, yeah! That's the highest score I've ever gotten!

(The game on Cyan's phone transitions to the item store.)

• Cyan: Cool! The name of this guitar is Strawberry Heart. That's so cute!

(Suddenly, Cyan's phone began to glitch and it turns itself off.)

• Cyan: What the...hey! Shoot, is it broken now?

(The screen on her phone reads "Unicorn Virtual Music Inc.")

• Cyan: This is weird.

(A monster appears. Cyan screams.)

• Cyan: Whoa! Who is that?

(Cyan's room goes dark. A monster eye appears and Cyan gets sucked inside the game, leaving her glasses behind. Cuts to Cyan in the game portal, and her body is nude, referencing Ghost in the Shell.)

• Cyan: I'm not having fun in here!

(Cyan wakes up to find that she is landing in a city.]

• Cyan: Huh?

(Cyan screams. Cuts to the band Trichronika performing the song "キミと☆Are You Ready?".)

• Audience: Trichronika! You're the best! Shu☆Zo!

(As Trichronika performs the song, Cyan is still screaming and a pink beam of light bits her.)

• Cyan: No way...!

(Cyan lands in the concert. She then wakes to see that she is now a 3D chibi-like character and has turned into a cat.)

• Cyan: Huh? Wha...? What happened? What do I look like this for?

(As Trichronika continues performing, the magic sparkles store inside a giant crystal. Cyan climbs on the stage to watch them.)

• Cyan (in thought): So cool! I've gotta be having a crazy dream, it's too weird. But still...who cares?! This is the most amazing thing I've ever seen! I wanna be playing on stage like those guys, too!

• Shu☆Zo: Kai, Riku, we're out! With the glittering light of you twins, my own major star power, and yes, the passionate adoration of our fans, we'll create an infinite rainbow and let it sparkle!

• Kai: Yeah, right on, Shu☆Zo!

• Riku: You know it!

(As Cyan continues to watch, she glitches out. Trichronika hears a booming noise.)

• Shu☆Zo: Wait, what's that noise?

(The galaxy background begins to shatter, much to the audience's shock. Trichronika are transported into a maze-like universe.)

• Shu☆Zo: What is this place? Anyone know what happened?

• Kai: I'm freaking out!

• Riku: Are you all right?

• Shu☆Zo: Kai, Riku, be careful! What's that?

• Cyan: It just gets weirder! If this is a dream, I'm ready to wake up now!

(Footsteps are heard.)

• Shu☆Zo: It's coming!

(A purple skeleton appears. Trichronika hears Cyan's scream.)

• Shu☆Zo: Who is that girl?

• Kai: Must be a fan? How'd she managed to get over here?

• Riku: Only Myumons with music skills should have access to this area.

(The monster goes after Trichronika. Three other girls (ChuChu, Retoree, Moa), and an egg (Maple Arisugawa) are watching this also.)

• Maple: Ooh, this is bad, that's a dark monster!
• ChuChu: President, look over there!

(Cyan is seen on the screen.)

• Maple: Criminy! Who on earth is that?!
• Retoree: I thought we have a good security against fangirls.
• ChuChu: She's in danger!
• Moa: Emergency, pyuru!

(Cuts back at the maze-like universe.)

• Shu☆Zo: Hello, kitty. You don't have to be afraid, we'll take care of the dark monster. The only thing you need to do is find a safe place to hide. Come on, twins. We've got a girl to save!

(Trichronika runs on top of the buildings to make the monster think they're bait.)

• Shu☆Zo: Don't let that thing touch you in its hands! Of it catches you, it'll drain out your energy. Before you know it, you'll be a dark monster, too!
• Kai & Riku: Copy that!

(The monster uses its head to blast a beam of energy at Trichronika. Trichronika arrives at a dead end. Shu☆Zo avoids the monster's attack and runs up the side of a building and kicks the monster in the head. Kai and Riku do the same thing. The monster's hand creates a beam.)

• Shu☆Zo: Kai!

(Shu☆Zo jumps up to catch Kai.)

• Shu☆Zo: Look out!

(Shu☆Zo gets caught by the beam.)

• Kai: Shu☆Zo!
• Riku: Easy, bro.
• Kai: Let him go, you bag of bones!
• Riku: Kai, don't!
• Kai: Incoming!

(Kai and Riku are caught by the beam as well.)

• Shu☆Zo: Kai, Riku!

(The bubble grows even bigger, making Shu☆Zo scream with agony. A crystal comes out of his chest and it darkens it.)

• ChuChu: He lost the Melodisian stone!
• Maple: Oh, not good. At this rate, he'll be turned into a dark monster in any minute!
• Moa: He's too cute to be a dark monster!
• Retoree: Those guys need help, fast.
• Cyan: Oh, man...what should I do?

(A light appears on Cyan's chest. Strawberry Heart appears.)

• Strawberry Heart: Rock and roll, baby!
• Cyan: Huh? Is this the guitar from the game?
• Strawberry Heart: Save it, sister! Get in that dude's face and play Strawberry Heart like a true axewoman!
• Cyan: Are you talking?
• Strawberry Heart: Let the soulful rock synch up with your Melodisian stone! The energy will blow that sucker away!
• Cyan: Um, I didn't understand anything you just said.
• Strawberry Heart: Pedal to the metal! You gotta go save them! Get the lead, baby!
• Cyan: Can I do that?

(Meanwhile, Trichronika is still in pain.)

• Shu☆Zo: Kai, Riku, hang on!
• Kai: Shu☆Zo, I'm sorry...I don't think I can last much longer.
• Riku: Me either.
• Shu☆Zo: Come on, twins. Don't give up! We've gotta fight for the fans! It's not over til it's over!
• Kai: It feels over.

(Trichronika hears Cyan playing the Strawberry Heart.)

• Cyan: Their concert was amazing. Interrupting that kind of show is just rude...but that monster's toast!

(Cyan plays a guitar solo to save Trichronika.)

• Shu☆Zo: Is that the fangirl?
• ChuChu: Oh, wow...
• Moa: Rock it, girlfriend!
• Maple: Well, I'll be. That's the famous guitar...it's Strawberry Heart!

(After Cyan plays the guitar solo, Trichronika's Melodisian stones are restored.)

• Kai: Our stones!
• Shu☆Zo: Man, she's a white-hot guitar goddess!

(Cyan defeats the dark monster by playing her guitar as the theme song plays in the background. Cyan then returns to her 2D original form.)

• Cyan: Ow, ow, ow, ow, meow...wait. I think on back to normal-ish. I don't know why, but something's different this time. Now where am I? This is even strange than the last place.
• Maple: Excuse me, do you have a moment, please?
• Cyan: Hello?

(Cyan looks down to see Maple and yelps.)

• Maple: Hi.
• Cyan: Why is that egg talking?!
• Maple: Let me guess, this is just.like when you order a hard boiled egg...but the yolk is runny when you bite it and say "Waiter, this isn't what I wanted it's raw". Or like when you're looking to eat some candy eggs...so you peel the foil off excitedly! And you take a big bite thinking you're about to taste some sweet delicious chocolate, but the inside it still white and yellow. THEN YOU SCREAM "YOU LIED TO ME!!!" By the way, do you like your eggs fried, sunny side up, or over e...

(Suddenly, ChuChu kicks him.)

• ChuChu: STOP! President Maple, maybe you should get to the point now. What do you say, sugar?

(Cyan is stunned.)

• Maple: Ahem! So then, will you join my agency? We would love to represent you.
• Cyan: Well, gosh. That's nice...
• Maple: My apologies. I meant to introduce myself sooner. I'm Maple Arisugawa, the CEO of BRR. These girls are in a band together.
• ChuChu: I'm ChuChu, the lead singer and guitarist of Plasmagica. It's nice meeting you!
• Retoree: I'm the bassist, Retoree.
• Moa: And I'm the drummer, Moa!
• ChuChu: So, cupcake, what's your name?
• Cyan: Um, I'm, uh...you can call me Cyan. C-Cyan, meow!

(Retoree blushes as Cyan's "meow" echoes. Cyan blushes with embarrassment and covers her mouth.)

• Cyan (in thought): I stuttered on my own name! And why did I say "meow"?
• Maple: Come on, hop on the bus!
• Cyan: You mean, with you guys?
• Maple: Yes.

(A car horn sound is heard.)

• Shu☆Zo: HEY!
• Fans: Shu☆Zo! Kai! Riku! Cool!
• Shu☆Zo: HEY! Well, hello there, kitten. You really saved us big time back there.
• Cyan: No huge deal...
• Riku: You were totally wailing on that guitar.
• Kai: Girl, you killed it!
• Shu☆Zo: Why don't you come with us, then you can sign with our agency?
• Cyan: But, I...you see... I don't...
• Maple: SHE'S GONNA SIGN WITH US! I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE TRICHRONIKA AND SIGNED WITH A MAJOR LABEL, THERE'S NO WAY YOU'RE CUTTING IN ON MY DEAL! BACK OFF, PRETTY BOY...!
• Riku: Shu☆Zo, he's crazy.

(Maple gets caught in the window.)

• Maple: Ow, ow, ow! My shell! I'm caught! Get me out of here! This hurts!
• Shu☆Zo: See you soon!
• Maple: So what if they're popular and have fancy hair? We've got good hair too, I mean talent...

(Blood spurts out of Maple's nose. Maple faints on the ground.)

• Maple: I tell you, your guitar solo earlier was massively impressive. You really got the goods, kiddo.
• Moa: That dark monster went down with one chord!
• Cyan: Well, I was kind of having an out-of-body experience, you know? I mean, everything's been pretty freaky from the get-go.
• Maple: Oh, don't be so humble.
• Cyan (in thought): I just followed them without thinking. What am I, a stray cat?

(Maple and Plasmagica arrive in BRR (Banded Rocking Records).)

• Cyan: Wow...this is it?
• Maple: Yep. In the flesh, Banded Rocking Records! Swanky, right?
• Angelica: Here you go. I'm Angelica, Maple's secretary and the band manager here. Nice to meet you.
• Cyan: Yes. Likewise.
• Angelica: Make yourself at home.
• Maple: Let me get straight to the point. You're not affiliated with another agency, are you?
• Cyan: Uh, no. But...there are many I'd like to join, since I love playing. It's my dream. It's just been kinda hard to get my foot in the door. Um, you know what I mean?
• Maple: I can't believe a person with your incredible talent can't get a contract.
• Cyan: Oh, I wasn't talking about getting a record contract or anything major. All I have to do is turn in my application to join a club, but I just can't do it.
• Maple: Eureka! Problem solved then! What do you say? Wanna be the newest member of the BRR family?
• Cyan: Well, I'm thinking.
• Maple: True, I know we look like small potatoes right now, but we're about to blow up and I have no intention of letting you walk out of here without a fight. In addition to Plasmagica here, we've got another group full of rowdy boys to add variety to the mix. I believe using these two bands as cornerstones of BRR will be on our way to give fantastic music to everyone around the world. The future will be nothing but sunshine! Now, come to the stage of dreams! Please!
• Angelica: President...

(Angelica whips her lash at Maple. Maple comes out shiny.)

• Maple: Now, now, don't worry. This'll be a cinch for you. With your incredible guitar skills, you're unbeatable by any standard.
• ChuChu: Let's level up. We all wanna sound good as we can, and have been thinking about getting another guitarist. Help us make her crackerjack!
• Retoree: So if you're not in another one, yet, and you want to play, come join our band.

(Retoree's "join our band?" echoes.)

• Cyan: Can't believe it! I've been wanting to hear those exact words forever, and I just heard them! Joining a band...it's my dream come true.
• Retoree: If you don't want to, it's cool.
• Cyan: No, wait. I do want to join your band, meow!

(Once again, Retoree blushes as Cyan's "meow!" echoes.)

• Cyan: I can't wait for it! I'd be honored to play with you!
• Maple: I'd call that a closing deal.
• ChuChu: Yay! This'll be so fun!
• Moa: Now there's even more magic in Plasmagica! Pyuru!
• Cyan: But wait. I still have so many questions. Where in the world am I, anyway? And also, why am I even here? What, to do? Oh, well, I'm in!

(Cuts at an evil lair.)

• Dagger: You failed?
• Ogasawara: My apologies. There were some unforeseen circumstances...
• Dagger: Small mistakes can lead to giant failures. Consider this your last chance.
• Ogasawara: Yes, sir!
• Dagger: Grateful King, have you finished the song? Hm. I see. Then you will not leave that room until it is completed. And may I remind you, this exclusive concert with Unicorn Virtual Music is precisely what you asked for. If you do not release and album every year, you will pay a hefty line for breach of contract. Your stubbornness is growing quite irksome. I intend to gain control over Sound World. No, over the Sound Cosmos in the very near future, mark my words. To do so, I need a comparable song written by a legendary guitarist, who happens to be you. On that note, I've found a musician who will be able to play your niece perfectly. There was some difficulty, however, and the player has not yet arrived. King, are you listening to me?

(Grateful King is sleeping, then wakes up. Dagger growls. Cuts back at BRR.)

• ChuChu: This is our studio. Cool, right?
• Cyan: Oh, wow. Awesome!
• ChuChu: Wanna jam with us a little bit, Cyan?
• Moa: Jam session, pyuru!
• Cyan: So by jamming, like, you mean, play together?
• Retoree: Well yeah, what else do you think it would mean?
• Cyan: Then yeah, let's go!
• Crow: Stop right there!

(The male voice Cyan heard was from a boy band called ShinganCrimsonZ. The screen reads "To be continued!!" and the end credits play. Episode 2 preview.)

• Cyan: Um, was the guys' entrance supposed to be a joke?
• Maple: Oh, no, next week, I'm sure...
• Cyan: You're sure what?
• Maple: They'll play a bigger role, maybe. I dunno.
• Cyan: Who are they, anyway?
